Tax Payments

TAX PAYMENTS

Property tax bills are due and payable on the first day of February, May, August and November.
There is a 10 day grace period. Payment must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the 10th of the month that taxes are due. If the 10th falls on a weekend or legal holiday, the grace period is extended to the next business day. If payment is received after the grace period, interest accrues back to the due date of the 1st of the month. The State of New Jersey does not permit the acceptance of postmarks.

FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL

It is the property owner’s responsibility to ascertain from the Tax Collector the amount of taxes due. If you have recently purchased the property, or lost your tax bill, please call the Tax Collector’s Office or see our website to obtain the amount of taxes due or to request a copy of your tax bill. Tax payments may be made by check, cash or money orders at no charge in our office at 2298 Route 33. Payments also can be made online for a fee. Click for ONLINE TAX PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS.

If you have any questions about your taxes, call the tax office at (609) 259-3600 ext. 1137, or email Tax Collector Kelly Fort at kfort@robbinsville.net
