Traffic Signal Operational at Pond/Hutchinson/Washington Intersection

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - (August 19, 2016) - Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried and Township Engineer Tim McGough are pleased to announce the traffic signal at the intersection of Pond Road/Washington Boulevard and Hutchinson Road is now fully operational.

Right turn on red is only permitted when making a right onto Washington Boulevard headed east on Hutchinson Road, and when making a right onto Hutchinson Road westbound from Pond Road toward Hamilton Township.

Where right turns are permitted motorists must not block the intersection and always be mindful of pedestrians. RPD saw several cars violate the two "No Turn on Red" sections (the right onto Pond Road from Hutchinson Road, and the right onto Hutchinson Road from Washington Blvd.).

Police will be there monitoring the intersection for the first few weeks until everyone gets acclimated to the changes. Please drive safely.

Thank you to Cray Electric for its fine work at the site.
