RPD ARREST TWO HAMILTON MEN IN CONNECTION WITH THURSDAY'S ARMED ROBBERY


ROBBINSVILLE, NJ – On June 17, 2016, DSgt. William Swanhart, Det. Peter Galazka and Det. Kevin Colgan of the Robbinsville Township Police Department's Criminal Investigations were assisted by the Hamilton Township Police Department in identifying and arresting Sean Albertson, 18, of Hamilton Township and Matthew Fryar, 20, also of Hamilton Township, for their role in the alleged armed robbery that occurred on Line Road in Robbinsville on June 16, 2016.

Subsequent to the arrests of the two men, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Samuel Street in Hamilton. With the assistance of the Hamilton PD, the firearm utilized in the commission of the robbery was recovered.

Sean Albertson was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS). Bail was set at $20,000 with a 10 percent option. Mr. Albertson posted bail and was released.

Matthew Fryar was charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, possession of weapon for an unlawful purpose, and theft. His bail was set at $100,000. Mr. Fryar was unable to post bail and was transported to the Mercer County Corrections Facility.
