NJ Superior Court Approves Robbinsville Affordable Housing Plan
With Final Judgement of Compliance

TRENTON - (November 3, 2018) - New Jersey Superior Court Judge Mary C. Jacobson on November 2, 2018 issued a final judgement of compliance and repose of affordable housing litigation between Robbinsville Township and Fair Share Housing Center.

Included in the Robbinsville plan for 638 moderate and low income units is the planned acquisition of the Mercer Mobile Home Park, along with the newest Project Freedom complex proposed on approximately eight acres within Town Center South.

Under Mayor Dave Fried, Robbinsville has been among the Mercer County leaders in barrier-free, affordable and community housing in all of Mercer County.

"We are very appreciative of Fair Share Housing Center for working so closely with us to reach a fair and comprehensive affordable housing settlement agreement to bring to Superior Court Judge Mary Jacobson," Fried said. "The Project Freedom and Mercer Mobile Home Park properties allow us to meet our lawful affordable housing requirements now and well into the future. Both FSHC and the Court have recognized our efforts as one of the leaders in affordable housing in New Jersey, and we are extremely proud of that distinction."

Robbinsville Township has now fulfilled its affordable housing obligations through July 1, 2025.
