ABOUT THE SENIOR CENTER
The Township of Robbinsville Senior Center was built in 1991 as a recreational facility for senior citizens/active older adults within the township. Until February of 1998, the Center was utilized by the Senior Club for meetings, parties, and other recreational needs.
In February of 1998, the Township (with the cooperation and financial support of Mercer County), opened a nutrition site at the Center and expanded activities at the Center. Lunch is provided Monday through Friday to all active older adults age 60 and above. There is a suggested donation of $1 per day and reservations are required. The Township has a game room at the Center with 2 pool tables, shuffle board and HD
TV with cable for the enjoyment of the seniors who visit the Center.
There also is a computer room with internet access.
The Center sponsors activities for seniors in the areas of arts and crafts, exercise, games, and educational presentations.
