TWO ROBBINSVILLE SOFTBALL TEAMS IN STATE FINALS!

Robbinsville Little League Softball captured two Section 3 titles within hours on Saturday. The 10-year-old All-Stars, led by Sara Motusesky’s strong pitching and Lauren Kiszely’s four hits and four runs, defeated Lincroft 18-0 in four innings at the tournament held at North Wall Little League. That night, the 12-year-old team defeated Manasquan-Brielle 8-0 to qualify for the state tournament in that age group for the fourth consecutive year. Hannah Olshevski recorded the win on the mound, and the offense scored seven runs on eight hits in the top of the third inning to put the game out of reach. The 10-year-old squad plays its first game in the finals Thursday night in Hammonton, while the 12-year-olds start play Friday in Manchester.
