TWO GAMES, TWO BIG WINS!

Both Robbinsville softball teams recorded wins in state tournament play Friday evening. The 12-year-old team, the “Chill” reversed the fortunes of defending champion Pequannock, with a 12-2 win. Hannah Olshevski recorded another outstanding performance on the mound, and Gabi Horowitz led the hard-hitting offense by going 2-for-3 with three RBIs. The 10-year-old squad, the “Thrill,” earned a spot in the final by defeating host Hammonton 11-2. Pitcher Megan Kratz recorded a no-hitter, striking out a dozen batters, with seven walks. Five players – Chelsea Manto, Lauren Kiszely, Annie Brunner, Kellie Hoffman, and Sara Motusesky – had two hits.
