About our Senior Center
The Township of Robbinsville
Senior Center was built in 1991 as a recreational facility for senior
citizens within the township. Until February of 1998, the Center was
utilized by the Senior Club for meetings, parties, and other
recreational needs.
In February of 1998, the Township (with the cooperation and
financial support of Mercer County), opened a nutrition site at the
Center and expanded activities at the Center. Lunch is now provided
Monday through Friday to all senior citizens age 60 and above. There is
a suggested donation of $1.00 per day and reservations are required.
The Township has a game room at the Center for the enjoyment of the
seniors who visit the Center, and there is also a cable television and
VCR as well as a piano and computer room.
The Center sponsors activities for seniors in the areas of arts and
crafts, exercise, games, and educational presentations. For additional
information on the Senior Center and to obtain a copy of the most
recent newsletter, calendar and menu, please call (609)259-1567, or
visit the Center.
