Robbinsville Salutes Opening of Sales Office for The Pines, a Senior Living Community

ROBBINSVILLE, N.J. – Township officials today welcomed the addition of the information center for The Pines at Robbinsville, a senior living community set to open in the Fall of 2013.

The Pines, to be built by Sharbell Development Corp., is a partnership with Keswick Pines, a local not-for-profit corporation.

The Pines information center, located at 2350 Route 33, Suite 102, is in the heart of the Town Center retail area, adding diversity to the popular destination for shoppers and diners. Recently, both Robbinsville and Sharbell received an award from New Jersey Future for Town Center’s visionary land use, and the area is increasingly a popular destination for residents and out-of-town visitors.

Council President Rich Levesque, liaison to the Economic Development Advisory Committee, cut the ribbon on behalf of Mayor Dave Fried. Levesque said The Pines information center adds to the recent flurry of business activity in Robbinsville. “Almost daily, something new is opening or happening,” Levesque said. “We are a place where people want to be. The Pines speaks both to Robbinsville’s success as a place to live and a place to do business.”

The Pines will be the Township’s first residential community focused on seniors. Mayor Dave Fried said this will add an important element to Robbinsville’s housing choices. “There’s no doubt that Robbinsville is a great place to raise a family, but we should be a place that welcomes people of all ages,” he said.
