Mayor David Fried created the Open Space Advisory Committee by executive order in July 2005. By creating this advisory committee, the Mayor recognized the need to promote the preservation of farmland and open space in Township pf Robbinsville. Open Space preservation is not only a local issue; it's a question of investing in the future of our State.
The Open Space Committee serves as an advisory panel and is not empowered to negotiate land acquisitions. The main function of the committee is to gather and provide as much information regarding properties in the Township that may be considered valuable for acquisition. These facts and recommendations are then presented to the Mayor or his designee.
