Mike Cipriano Elected Vice President for 2019

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ – (January 3, 2019) - Ron Witt was sworn in as Robbinsville Township Council President for the fifth time during Thursday's annual reorganization meeting at the Municipal Building.

Mr. Witt previously served as president in 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2018. His current term on Council expires on December 31, 2019.

Mike Cipriano was sworn-in as Council Vice President to begin his second full year on the governing body, which again is rounded out by Chris Ciaccio, Dan Schuberth and Vince Calcagno.

The terms of Mr. Cipriano and Mr. Calcagno run through December 31, 2021, while those of Mrs. Ciaccio and Mr. Schuberth expire on December 31, 2019.

"While I speak all the time about our staff and my absolute confidence that we can assign them to any other town in New Jersey and that town would flourish, we don’t often talk about the relationship with council and how important that is in relation to efficiency in government," Mayor Dave Fried said. "Our council is very active and works incredibly hard. With all of the political discourse prevailing over national politics today, it is really nice that we have a town that works together for the greater good."
