"Meals on Wheels" Program

Director: Dave Williams

Senior Center, 1117 Route 130 (Municipal Complex)

They're called the "Golden Years". But for some people, these years are tarnished by illness, loneliness, diminished capacity, and a loss of independence. Family and friends may want to help, but not know how. Sometimes, there just isn't anyone around to help. In either case, people have turned to the Township of Robbinsville "Meals on Wheels" program for help and you can too!

Meals On Wheels helps seniors to:

- Remain independent
- Maintain their nutritional health
- Act as a referral source
- Live their life with dignity

Volunteering

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. - Aesop

Volunteering with Meals on Wheels gives you the opportunity to discover your own abilities while making a direct and meaningful difference in the quality of individual lives. Volunteering can also help you grow personally and professionally; explore career directions; develop lasting friendships with clients and other volunteers; meet new people and gain hands on experience and training.

Deliver not just a meal, but a friendship. Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver vital nutrition, but more importantly, volunteers deliver a healthy dose of friendship and social connection. We welcome volunteers from churches, synagogues, schools, corporations and the community who are willing to generously donate their time and talents so we can serve the need of Township of Robbinsville Seniors.

To Volunteer, please call Dave Williams at (609) 273-0133.
