Robbinsville Township is pleased to announce it will debut a new website that will be fully functional by the time we open the new Municipal Building on Route 33 in July. The website is being designed by Revize Software Systems and will feature easy to navigate links and expanded pages for several Township departments, including Public Works, the Recreation Division and the Municipal Clerk's office. The Township codebook, all pertinent forms and permits, and the ability to pay your utility and tax bills will be featured on the homepage.
On March 10, 2016 I presented this year's budget to Township Council that includes a second proposed municipal tax cut in three years. A tax cut in this type of economic environment is very difficult to do in any year. Being able to do it two of the last three years is a significant accomplishment. Also, property values and the value of our town continue to increase. This is all very good news.
Hosting Fortune 500 companies such as Amazon, Green Mountain Coffee, McKesson Corporation and Walgreens Pharmacy has certainly helped stabilize our tax rate, and they have all been terrific corporate partners. Nevertheless, it is our small businesses and charitable organizations that remain the lifeblood of Robbinsville and we will continue doing everything we can to allow them to prosper. As Mayor, I also could not be more proud of the residents of this town, who continue to step up time and time again whenever and wherever help is needed.
Our team takes a great deal of pride in keeping the Robbinsville community informed, and we will never stop striving to improve our technology to become more productive and interactive. The new website is no exception.
As always, we welcome your feedback on anything and everything happening in our town. Feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to hear from you!
