ROBBINSVILLE, NJ – The 3rd Annual Robbinsville St. Patrick’s Day Parade, sponsored by the Robbinsville Irish Heritage Association (RIHA), was held on Saturday, March 24 in Robbinsville Township. It was a special day filled with community pride, music and fun.
The parade kicked off with opening ceremonies in front of the Robbinsville Township offices as attending dignitaries from the state, county and municipal levels, and parade spectators listened to Kaeleigh Sturgeon and Molly Doran sing the Irish and American national anthems to great acclaim.
The parade was led by 2012 Grand Marshal Mike McGeough, President of the Dubh Linn Square Pub Group, and Cathy "Casey'' Zahn, the 2012 Irish Person of the Year. Marching units from Robbinsville High School, five area bagpipe bands, live music floats, and various community organizations helped boost the line of march for 2011 to a record 76 units.
