2019 Kids & Teens Programs
GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY CAMP - PRMS COACHES
Designed so players of all abilities can learn to perform at their highest level.  The goal is to teach the skills to become a “complete” field hockey player in a fun atmosphere that fosters positive attitudes, teamwork and good sportsmanship.  Players will be grouped according to skill level.

GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY CAMP - RHS COACHES
Join this camp for an opportunity to work with Robbinsville High School coaches and players to develop skills and techniques needed to advance your game to the next level. This camp will provide learning opportunities and competition in a small group setting. Players will be split into groups based on age and skill.

WHAT'S FOR LUNCH! COOKING CAMP
Chef It Up 2 Go is back again in Robbinsville Rec bringing What's for Lunch program! Each day our jr chefs will prepare a delicious lunch to enjoy in camp and probably bring some home to share too! On the menu we'll be making fresh pasta: stuffed crust pizza; garlic knots, cupcakes, fresh squeezed drinks and much more!

ARTSY PARTY ART CAMP
It’s time to celebrate like an artist! Have fun creating drawings that show celebration whether it be a carnival, an amusement park, a birthday party or a day at the beach! Sculptures from the circus, paintings of fireworks and awesome decorated objects are just some of the fun waiting for you. Explore awesome mediums full of bright colors and sparkle!

THE ARTIST IN ME ART CAMP 
Use this week to take your art to the next level. Brainstorm, experiment and create! Don't be afreaid to take a risk! Each day a drawing and 3-D project or canvas painting will be completed. Explore papre-mache, sculpture, mixed media drawings and more. Your initials will be used for a fun surprise. Be proud of who you are as you get to know the artist within!

BRICKS 4 KIDZ - SUMMER CAMP!
LEGO ENGINEERING ADVENTURE; AUG 19 -23 | 9 A.M. - 12 P.M.
AT THE ROBBINS HOUSE  (K-6TH) | $125
There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the idea; plans and building skills to make it all come together? Students will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build engineering themed models using LEGO® Bricks. 

MASTER BUILDERS LEGO CAMP (REMOTE CONTROL + CIRCUIT TECH + PROGRAMMING);
AUG 19-23 | 1-5 P.M. AT THE ROBBINS HOUSE (K-6TH) | $135
Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO® wireless remote controls & also through coding. Each day, campers will use fascinating and challenging LEGO® components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machine and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. To add to the fun, they will also learn all about circuits by using an electronic invention tool that connects everyday objects to computer programs with circuit boards. 

FULL DAY CAMP IS ALSO AN ADDITIONAL OPTION, PRICE $230

WALKER BOTS; AUG 26-30 | 9 A.M. - 12 P.M. AT THE ROBBINS HOUSE (K-6TH) | $125

How do LEGO brick model-designers come up with their ideas? Where do they begin, and how do the ideas go from concept to completion? This camp will explore the creative process of model design. Campers will learn the function of different LEGO components and discover how those components can work together to create all kinds of solid structures and moving parts. They will first create designs digitally, then bring them to life using LEGO bricks. They will also do robotic prototype their models to make them "robotic".

LINE DANCING
Enjoy 6 lessons and learn at least 12 dances! Basic steps through simple dances. NO PARTNER NEEDED. 1-3 dances a week and all about exercise and fun.

Come and enjoy open play volleyball in a friendly atmosphere.  Teams chosen by Rec volunteer.

ADULT BADMINTON
Enjoy the game of badminton in a recreational setting. Shuttlecocks and nets will be provided. Participants must bring their own rackets.
