2017 Kids & Teens Programs
Pee Wee (ages 5-6) lessons will introduce children to tennis related skills such as eye hand coordination, tracking, and balance. Emphasis will be on fun and success.
Beginner (ages 7-9 or 10-13) lessons are for those with limited tennis experience. Class will provide a good foundation while emphasizing proper stroke mechanics and basic footwork. Again, emphasis will be on fun and success.
Advanced Beginners (ages 7-9 or 10-13) lessons are for students who have mastered the beginner level class. Emphasis is on rallying & serving from the baseline. The goal is to play "real" tennis and to start playing on a consistent basis.

3 ON 3 COED BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
This one-day tournament is great for players to compete in 3 on 3 setting. Teams will play minimum 3 games plus with a chance to compete for the championship. Teams will matched according to grade. Each team will be required to field 4-5 players for substitutions’ purposes. Championship teams will receive tournament T-shirts.

ENERGY IS EVERYWHERE!
Energy is essential to almost everything we do, from the lights in our homes and classrooms to the gasoline that fuels our cars. Introduce your students to the world of energy in all its amazing forms. This unit explores many sources of energy from wind and solar power to biofuel and fossil fuel. Students will define terms like renewable, landfill, greenhouse effect and generator and build moving LEGO models of just some of the awesome ways we power our world.

The 2 day basketball camp will consist of excellent drills and skills instruction, competitions, and competitive team games. Players will be grouped according to age and skill level. Players should bring a bag lunch. Championship T-Shirts awarded.

SPEED AND AGILITY CLASS
Become faster, quicker, stronger! This class will focus on: running technique, speed and agility training plus strength and flexibility. If you want to take your game to the next level or just get in good physical condition, this class is for you!

ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS WITH KIDZART®
Fall into artistic expressions with KidzArt! Have fun challenging your inner artist and pushing your creative potential to the limit as you draw many different compositions. Charcoal wolves, impressive landscapes and still lifes as well as honey bears are just some of the fun waiting for you! Students will use many different mediums including charcoal, watercolors, colored pencils, pastels and more. Come join the fun this fall with KidzArt®!

2017 Adults Programs
Enjoy the game of badminton in a recreational setting. Shuttlecocks and nets will be provided. Participants must bring their own rackets. (Both session at Sharon School Elementary).

Come out for some friendly competition on the court; pick-up games only. Players must register in order to participate. Proof of residency required. No program when schools are closed and when RHS varsity games are scheduled: lots of sessions will be canceled/rescheduled because of this.

HULA HOOP WORKOUT
Rock your core like never before! Learn to move the hoop on and off the body with style! Improve your coordination, balance, and strength while dancing to fun music playlists. No prior hula hoop or dance experience needed, just come ready to have fun! Adult size hoops provided for class use.
